This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to take ownership of the credit control function, managing customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting cash flow within a fast-paced business.
What Were Looking For: Previous experience within a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills Positive, proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities Experience using Sage 200 or Credit Hound would be advantageous Key Responsibilities: Manage the company's credit control function and ensure customers adhere to agreed payment terms Issue customer invoices and statements Monitor customer credit limits and complete credit checks for new accounts Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger across multiple entities Chase outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements where required Resolve customer account queries in a timely and professional manner Prepare aged debt reports for management Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient resolution of account issues Assist with credit control administration and support continuous improvement of finance processes For further information on this opportunity or to take the next step in your finance career, get in touch with Garry Thomson at HireIQ in complete confidence.
