Job Description
Key Skills: Accounting, Finance, US GAAP, SOX Compliance, GST, SAP, Audit Management, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, MS Excel Roles & Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and statutory requirements. Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities. Oversee GST compliance, tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and address audit observations.
Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls. Prepare financial reports, analysis, and management presentations. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within finance operations.
Lead and mentor accounting team members to ensure effective performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and compliance requirements. Experience Required: 5-9 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and Compliance functions.
Strong experience in accounting operations and financial reporting. Hands-on experience with balance sheet reconciliations and account reviews. Good knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
Experience managing GST compliance, tax filings, assessments, and audits. Experience working with SAP ERP systems. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Experience supporting internal and external audits. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Team management or people management experience is an added advantage.
