Your new roleAs Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality across finished machines and sub-assemblies.
Working closely with the Quality leadership team, you will be responsible for inspection, reporting and quality control processes to ensure high standards are consistently achieved.Key responsibilitiesCarry out final run and testing of machinesLead and contribute to PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) report-out meetingsComplete PDI reports and associated documentationConduct internal audits and routine inspections of fabricated componentsIdentify, investigate and address quality concerns on a daily basisControl and issue serial plates for completed machinesEscalate ongoing or recurring quality issues where requiredMaintain and update dispatch records, including engine numbers and serial dataSupport quality investigations and continuous improvement activitiesLiaise with suppliers and customers, including supporting site visits when required What you'll need to succeedBasic IT/computer skillsStrong teamwork and communication abilitiesGood awareness of health & safety practicesAbility to produce clear and accurate written reportsDesirable:Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environmentKnowledge of heavy machinery or similar productsContinuous improvement experienceElectrical and/or hydraulic knowledge
