State/Government hiringLocation:MohaliEmployment Type:Full-TimeJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Recruitment Lead to manage and drive U.S. Government/State staffing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with U.S. state/public sector clients, managing VMS portals, leading recruitment teams, and delivering qualified candidates within strict SLA timelines.This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in U.S. staffing processes, visa classifications, tax terms, and compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the U.S.
State/Government staffing recruitment team and delivery operationsHandle end-to-end recruitment for U.S. state/public sector clientsWork directly with hiring managers and clients on requirements, submissions, interviews, and closuresManage and operate VMS portals such as Fieldglass, VectorVMS, Beeline, PeopleFluent, etc.Assign requirements to recruiters and monitor daily performance metricsEnsure SLA adherence, submission quality, and delivery targets are consistently achievedSource, screen, evaluate, and shortlist candidates for technical and non-technical rolesConduct initial HR, technical, and behavioral screening interviewsDraft and post job descriptions across job boards and social media platformsBuild and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and recruitment database/CRMCoordinate interview scheduling, feedback tracking, onboarding, and documentationManage client escalations and maintain strong stakeholder relationshipsMentor and guide recruiters on sourcing strategies, compliance, and delivery excellenceStay updated on U.S. market trends, technologies, and government staffing demandsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Must Have:Proven experience in U.S. State/Government/Public Sector staffingStrong hands-on experience with VMS/MSP environments and portalsExpertise in U.S. work authorization/visas:H1BH1 TransferOPT-EADGC-EADH4-EADTN VisaGreen CardStrong understanding of U.S. tax terms:W2C2C1099Good understanding of U.S. time zones and hiring practicesStrong leadership, team handling, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience handling direct state client requirementsFamiliarity with ATS/CRM toolsExperience managing a team of recruitersStrong networking and sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.Key Competencies:Team LeadershipClient ManagementDelivery ManagementRecruitment StrategyNegotiation SkillsMultitasking & PrioritizationProblem SolvingCompliance AwarenessPerformance Metrics:Submission-to-interview ratioInterview-to-offer ratioSLA adherenceTeam productivityClient satisfactionClosure turnaround time (TAT)
