Role SummaryCenter Manager is responsible for the overall operations, administration, and performance of the mediclinic providing OPD (Outpatient Department) and PHC (Primary Health Care) services. The role ensures efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, driving patient referrals to the hospital, maintaining alignment with the hospital's protocols, brand, and strategic objectives The role is responsible for achievement of business and healthcare outcomes. The Center Manager acts as the key point of coordination between medical staff, patients, and management
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic including OPD and EHC servicesEnsure smooth patient flow, registration, consultation, diagnostics, and pharmacy servicesManage and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff, including scheduling and performance monitoring.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and clinical protocolsMonitor inventory of medical supplies, medicines, and equipment; ensure timely replenishmentHandle patient grievances and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction, manage patient experience to reflect the hospital's brand and service standards.Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals for effective care deliveryMaintain accurate records, reports, and MIS related to operations, patient data and financialsManage clinic financial performance including revenue, billing accuracy, and cost control.Drive revenue targets, cost optimization, and overall center profitabilityImplement quality improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Liaise with local authorities, vendors, and partners as requiredEnsure hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols are strictly followed.Act as the liaison between the clinic and the parent hospital for referrals, escalations, and coordination

8-12 years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably in clinics, hospitals, or PHC setupsStrong understanding of OPD workflows.Leadership and team management skillsStrong coordination and stakeholder management skillsGood knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProblem-solving and decision-making abilityFinancial acumen and basic understanding of budgeting and P&LProficiency in MS Office and hospital/clinic management softwareAbility to work in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment
