Job Description
Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• 5-8 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop).• Experience handling both US and Indian bookkeeping processes.• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.• High attention to detail and accuracy.• Strong written and verbal communication skills. ResponsibilitiesUS Bookkeeping• Maintain accurate books of accounts for US-based clients.• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.• Record journal entries and support month-end close activities.• Prepare financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and reporting timelines.• Coordinate with CPAs for tax filings and audit requirements. Indian Bookkeeping• Maintain books of accounts in accordance with Indian accounting practices.• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.• Assist with GST-related bookkeeping and reconciliations.• Support preparation of financial statements and reports.• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required.
