We're hiring - Associate, Real Estate Due Diligence (Land, Building & Construction Projects) Hyderabad

FirstWater Law LLP is a corporate law firm with a core practice in banking & finance and real estate. We act for banks, NBFCs, developers and land aggregators on the due diligence of land, building and construction projects - the title and regulatory review that decides whether a project is safe to lend against, acquire and build. We're growing this practice in Hyderabad.

What you'll work on• Title and ownership due diligence on land and built assets - tracing and verifying the chain of title• Regulatory, approval and land-use diligence for building and construction projects• Encumbrance, litigation and statutory searches affecting a property or project• Reviewing and drafting acquisition and development documentation• Preparing title search reports (TSRs) and consolidated due-diligence / red-flag reports with clear, actionable conditions

What we're looking for• 1-3 years PQE in real estate / property due diligence• Sound grasp of land and property law and how title and approvals work• Familiarity with local land records and sub-registries (Telugu reading a plus)• Strong drafting, attention to detail and commercial judgement• Comfortable with on-ground searches and dealing directly with clients and landowners• Enrolled with a State Bar Council
