About the RoleAs Amadora Gourmet Ice Cream continues to grow across company-owned and franchise stores, we are looking for an experienced Training & Operations Excellence Manager to build strong frontline capability and ensure consistent store standards across all locations.
This is a high-impact role for someone who understands QSR operations deeply and can translate that into structured training, strong execution, and operational discipline. The role will work closely with store leadership to strengthen team capability, improve customer experience, and ensure food safety and compliance standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Capability BuildingLead the end-to-end training function for Associates, Senior Associates, Shift Managers, and Multi Store Managers.Design and execute training programs covering SOPs, product knowledge, customer service, hygiene, food safety, and equipment handling.Conduct induction programs for all new hires and support onboarding for franchise teams.Build and manage a structured training calendar for induction, refresher sessions, and performance-based interventions.Develop practical training content including manuals, process guides, assessments, checklists, and visual aids.Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, observation, and performance tracking.Operational ExcellencePartner with Cluster Managers to identify store-level gaps and implement targeted improvement plans.Conduct regular store visits to ensure process consistency and service standards.Drive operational discipline across company-owned and franchise stores.Strengthen SOP adherence and support continuous improvement initiatives.Food Safety & ComplianceMaintain audit-ready documentation for food safety, certifications, SOPs, and training records.Track mandatory certifications and compliance requirements across all stores.Monitor audit findings, ensure corrective actions are implemented, and close all open observations within timelines.Share monthly updates with management on training completion, compliance, certifications, and audit readiness.Ideal Candidate3+ years of experience in training, operations, or L&D within Quick Service Restaurant / café / hospitality.Experience handling multi-store operations and frontline capability development.Strong understanding of food safety, SOP implementation, and service excellence.Comfortable working across both company-operated and franchise business formats.Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.ApplyInterested candidates may share their updated CV to:
