Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE :
The Team Lead - Bath Advisors is the first-line sales leader responsible for driving revenuethrough a team of 6-8 onground Bath Advisors. Operating within a short revenue cycle, this roledemands an equal focus on daily sales execution and disciplined process adherence. TheTeam Lead is the critical bridge between the Sales Head's strategic direction and the teamfloor delivery, ensuring every advisor is equipped, motivated, and held accountable to meetindividual and team targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Sales Drive & Revenue AchievementOwn the team's monthly and quarterly; cascade individual targets to each Bath Advisor. Actively co-sell with advisors to accelerate closures.
Monitor daily order pipelines and intervene early when targets are at risk same day, notend of week. Analyse daily/weekly sales data, identify conversion bottlenecks, and course-correct inreal time.
- Sales Discipline & Process Adherence Enforce end-to-end adherence to the defined sales process from call and needsassessment through product demo, objection handling, and closure. Ensure all customer interactions, quotes, follow-ups, and closures are accurately loggedin the CRM/sales tool on the same working day. Conduct daily morning huddles to align the team on priorities, targets, and processreminders. Audit field activity through regular floor walks, ride-alongs, or joint customer visits;document observations and provide immediate corrective feedback. Maintain zero tolerance for process shortcuts that compromise customer experience ordata integrity.

Team Management & Capability Building :Conduct structured one-on-ones with each advisor performance, discuss roadblocks, andset action plans. Identify skill gaps through observation and data; deliver in-the-moment coaching andcoordinate formal training with the Sales Head where required. Onboard new Bath Advisors to process, product knowledge, and sales methodology;ensure productivity ramp-up within the defined timeline.
Motivate the team through recognition, healthy competition, and transparent performancevisibility. Address underperformance promptly with structured PIPs (Performance ImprovementPlans) in consultation with the Sales Head.
- Reporting & CommunicationSubmit accurate daily sales reports and weekly performance summaries to the SalesHead. Flag risks (pipeline shortfalls, attrition signals, process breakdowns) proactively beforethey become escalations. Represent team feedback, ground-level product/pricing insights, and customer sentimentupwards to the Sales Head and Senior VP. Collaborate with adjacent teams (marketing, operations, after-sales) to resolve issues thataffect customer experience or sales velocity.
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
Experience & Background 5-6 years of onground / field sales experience, preferably in premium consumer products,home interiors, sanitaryware, or allied categories. Minimum 1-2 years in a team lead, senior advisor, or supervisory sales role with directpeople accountability. Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience managing short-cycle, high-touch consultative sales processes (retailshowroom or project sales experience preferred).
EducationGraduate in any discipline; MBA or a relevant diploma is an advantage but not mandatory.
WORKING CONDITIONS Primarily onground presence at the sales floor / customer locations is mandatory duringoperating hours. Requires travel to customer sites, project locations, or multi-location coverage dependingon territory. Weekends are working days with Mondays and alternate Tuesdays being the week offs.
ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXTThe Team Lead reports directly to the Sales Head, who in turn reports to the Senior VP headingthe vertical. This three-tier structure means the Team Lead is expected to operate withsignificant autonomy at the execution level while keeping the Sales Head fully informed andaligned on pipeline health, team performance, and ground-level risks.
