We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer with strong exposure to the healthcare/pharmaceutical domain. As a Sr. Graphic Designer, you will play a critical role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering high-quality, original creative solutions across digital and print mediums, with a strong emphasis on scientific accuracy and independent ideation capability.
Translate client needs, brand strategies, and complex medical/scientific content into original, high-impact visual design concepts, ensuring strong ownership from ideation to executionIndependently conceptualize and develop creative directions, moving beyond template-based approaches to deliver custom, innovative design solutions aligned to business and communication objectivesCreate medically accurate and visually compelling data visualizations (charts, graphs, tables, infographics) that clearly represent clinical and scientific data with precision and clarityDesign and develop creative assets, including brochures, visual aids, presentations, infographics, social media creatives, websites, and high-quality 2D/3D illustrations and motion/video contentDemonstrate strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Illustrator, with the ability to create original illustrations, icons, infographics, and visual systems from scratch (not template- or stock-dependent)Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in professional video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects, including storyboarding, editing, transitions, animation, and basic motion graphics (beyond AI/auto-generated or Canva-based outputs)Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, regulatory/compliance standards, and quality benchmarks, especially within healthcare/pharmaceutical communicationStay updated on latest design trends, tools, and technologies, including motion design, interactive content, and digital engagement formats, and apply them effectively in projectsProvide strategic and consultative design input to clients, confidently presenting and defending creative concepts and guiding stakeholders toward effective solutionsCollaborate effectively with medical writers, scientific teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on content accuracy, storytelling, and visual clarityManage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and adherence to project goals
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma (preferably in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related discipline)Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)Strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator (mandatory) for creating original design assets and illustrations from scratchDemonstrated experience in professional video editing and motion graphics, using tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro (non-AI/non-template driven)6-8 years of relevant experience in graphic design, preferably within healthcare/pharma/medical communication domainStrong portfolio showcasing original creative work, conceptual thinking, and end-to-end execution capability across multiple formatsCreative agency or healthcare communication background preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to articulate concepts and engage with global clients effectively
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
3-4 years of graphic design experience, with exposure to the healthcare/pharma domainProven ability to work with US/global clients, adopting a consultative and client-facing approachStrong expertise in data visualization and scientific storytelling, supported by solid design fundamentals (typography, layout, hierarchy, color theory)Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with ability to create original illustrations, icons, and infographics from scratchHands-on experience in video editing and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects, with independent execution capabilityStrong understanding of branding and consistency, ensuring alignment with client guidelines and visual standardsAbility to conceptualize independently and deliver innovative, non-templated creative solutionsExcellent project and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across cross-functional and global teamsExperience in mentoring and training junior designers, with responsibility for quality, accuracy (medical/scientific), compliance awareness (MLR), and ability to translate complex medical content for diverse audiences (HCPs, patients, caregivers)
