Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of engineers and architects to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and grow within a collaborative and supportive work environment. Roles and Responsibilities Designing structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools.Analyzing structures to ensure they are safe and can withstand the loads they will encounter.Developing design specifications and requirements for projects.Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural design meets project needs and requirements.Creating detailed engineering drawings, plans, and blueprints for construction.Evaluating and selecting appropriate materials for construction.Conducting on-site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during construction.Conducting research to stay current on industry trends and advances in structural engineering.Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.10 years of experience in structural design and analysis.Proficiency in structural analysis softwareStrong knowledge of building codes and regulations.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Project management skills are a plus.
