Job Description Maystar General Contractors Inc. is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our Vaughan based team as a Project Coordinator. This is an opportunity to join a company with over 30 years of construction experience. As a key member of the Maystar team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager(s) in all aspects of document management and presentation.
Travel throughout the GTA area may be required. About the Role Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Team to ensure proper document management. Track, review and distribute shop drawings and other related submittals.
Create and coordinate documents such as Change Orders, Subcontractor Change Orders, RFIs, etc. Manage and file documents for projects digitally. Duties include document tracking, data entry, preparation of project close out documents, and assist in quality assurance, etc.
Attend project meetings, prepare and issue minutes as required Liaison with the subtrades, Consultants and Clients as required Skills and Experience 3 to 5 years experience in the construction industry. Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Experience with Procore Construction Software is an asset. Strong time management and organizational skills required.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Post-secondary education in a Construction or Engineering related field. Ability to work with others as a team.
Ability to work flexible hours as the project schedule demands.
