Job SummaryThe Materials & Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities while ensuring timely availability of materials. The role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, improving production efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities1.

Production Planning & SchedulingDevelop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts and customer ordersCreate and manage production schedules to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and machinesCoordinate with shop floor teams to execute plans effectivelyMonitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed2. Material PlanningPlan and ensure availability of raw materials, components, and consumablesGenerate Material Requirement Plans (MRP) based on production schedulesCoordinate with procurement for timely material availabilityTrack shortages and proactively mitigate risks3. Inventory ManagementMaintain optimal inventory levels (RM, WIP, FG)Monitor slow-moving and excess inventoryImplement inventory control strategies to reduce carrying costEnsure accuracy of inventory records in ERP systems4.

Coordination & CommunicationLiaise with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics teamsAlign production plans with supply constraints and customer prioritiesCommunicate changes in demand or delays to stakeholders5.
