Product Designer
In Product
Job Description
Product Designer - Remote UK, Monthly London meetups - £65,000–£75,000 (In partnership with In Product) A product design role for someone who thinks like a product engineer - equal parts craft, product judgement, and the technical curiosity to get closer to the build than most designers do. About the company A bootstrapped, profitable UK tech business operating in the rewards and verification space - helping brands move away from blanket discounting and offer the right reward to the right customer. Trusted by 500+ brands, working with 2m+ shoppers a year, and profitable since founding in 2020.
Around 20 people. No external funding. Growing fast.
The product is shifting from a largely managed service to a self-serve platform brands can run more independently. That's the design challenge: taking something complex and functional and making it significantly more intuitive, elegant and scalable. About the role You'll work directly with Product and Engineering - from discovery and collaborative workshops through to handoff and shipped product.
The team is technically strong and moves fast; your job is to bring design craft and product thinking into that process without slowing it down, and to push back constructively when it matters. The remit spans: End-to-end design execution: discovery, IA, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, handoff Evolving a Figma design system that's foundational but still maturing - documentation, new components, consistency across the product Designing self-serve experiences that help brands get value without manual intervention Using AI tools as part of your design workflow - ideation, prototyping, copy, decision-making We're looking for someone who: Has shipped high-quality digital products in a startup or scale-up environment Has strong design craft - the kind that shows in portfolio detail, micro-animations, and considered trade-offs Brings genuine product thinking, not just design execution - you understand the why behind what you're building Has the stakeholder management and negotiation skills to work with a technically strong engineering team and keep things moving Is coding-literate, or actively building towards it - comfort with implementation, agent-assisted coding or small production changes is a real plus Has integrated AI tools into their workflow in a practical, documented way Thrives with autonomy and ambiguity; ownership isn't a culture value here, it's a day-to-day reality Why this role The engineering team is strong and the pace is fast. What's needed is a designer who can match that - someone with taste, product instincts, and the confidence to challenge as well as collaborate.
If you've been looking for a role where design has a real seat at the table and the work reaches millions of people, this is it. Small team. No bureaucracy.
Real influence over what gets built.
