Front Office Trading Support Analyst - Equities/ Futures

We are seeking a few experienced Front Office Trading Support Analysts to support trading platforms across Cash Equities/ Futures. These Trade Support SMEs will be responsible for ensuring stability, performance, and connectivity across trading systems, exchange gateways, and client order flow. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong production support experience in agency brokerage, execution services, or sell-side trading environments.What you'll do:Provide production support for Cash Equities/ Futures trading platformsSupport and troubleshoot OMS/EMS systems, order routing, and trade flow issuesManage and monitor exchange connectivity, market gateways, and execution venuesSupport FIX sessions, client on-boarding, and connectivity troubleshootingInvestigate live trading incidents, failed orders, allocations, and settlement breaksWork closely with traders, sales traders, operations, clients, and technology teamsSupport system releases, upgrades, and production changesBuild and maintain automation scripts for operational efficiency and reportingPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to service improvementsEnsure adherence to regulatory and operational controls across trading systemsWhat you'll bring:7 years+ experience in Application Support / Production Support within electronic trading environmentsStrong knowledge of Cash Equities or Futures trade lifecycleHands-on experience supporting OMS/EMS platformsStrong understanding of FIX Protocol, client onboarding, and order flowExperience supporting exchange connectivity and market gatewaysStrong SQL skills (must-have) and good Unix/Linux command-line knowledgeBasic scripting experience in Python, Shell, or PowerShellStrong troubleshooting and incident management skillsExperience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Geneos, or similarExperience with vendor platforms such as ION Group, FIS, or Trading TechnologiesAgency brokerage / execution broker background are strong advantagesKnowledge of regulatory frameworks including Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR)Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
