Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Lead/Architect

Position Details Job Title: Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Lead/Architect Employment Type: Contract (1 Year – Extendable based on project requirements) Location: Remote Work Schedule: 40 Hours per Week Time Zone: US Eastern Standard Time (EST) Joining: Immediate (ASAP) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Lead/Architect to join our team on a remote contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading Oracle Fusion ERP implementations and providing functional architecture across Oracle Financials. This role requires close collaboration with global stakeholders while supporting the US Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zone.

The successful candidate will drive solution design, lead functional workstreams, provide business process expertise, and ensure successful project delivery. Requirements Key Responsibilities Lead Oracle Fusion ERP Financials implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives. Act as the Functional Lead/Architect for Oracle Fusion ERP projects, providing strategic and functional guidance.

Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion ERP solutions. Design and configure Oracle Fusion Financial modules, including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management Expense Management Tax Configure Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Accounting Calendar, Accounting Rules, Approval Workflows, Payment Terms, and Financial Reporting structures. Lead solution design workshops and recommend Oracle best practices.

Collaborate with business users, technical teams, project managers, and client stakeholders. Provide functional leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Develop and execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and performance testing.

Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend optimal solutions. Stay current with Oracle Fusion Cloud quarterly updates and assess their business impact. Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, user guides, and training materials.

Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership across project teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. 8+ years of Oracle ERP experience, including significant experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud. Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Lead or Solution Architect.

Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials modules: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management Expense Management Tax Experience with Oracle reporting tools, including: OTBI BI Publisher Smart View Strong understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles. Experience leading end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementation projects. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud Certification. Experience working with global implementation teams.

Knowledge of Oracle Fusion quarterly updates and release management. Experience integrating Oracle Fusion ERP with third-party applications. Consulting experience with enterprise clients.
