Network Software Engineer

Job Description: What you’ll do :Lead multiple project teams (internal and outsourced) across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and integration for complex products and platforms .Own and drive system architecture, ensuring effective design and integration of software systems across multiple platforms .Manage and strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders and external development partners .Review system designs and project activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, improve product quality, and reduce risk .Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across cross-functional and cross-organization initiatives .Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies into existing and new systems .Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices within the team . What you need to brin g:Education & Experienc e: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, with 6–10 years of experience in software developmen t.Architecture Expertis e: Strong experience in designing and architecting complex software systems and integrating them across multiple platform s.Technical Skill s: Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages, development tools, and software design methodologie s.Systems & Networking Expertis e:Broadcom Network ASIC / silicon (XGS, DNX, Trident, Jerich o)Datapath / Dataplane desi gnPacket forwarding pipelin esMulticast technologies (IGMP/MLD snooping, PIM, NG MVPN – Rose n)Strong expertise in chip-level programming, multicast optimization, and forwarding log icSystems Thinkin g: Deep understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and integratio n.Testing & Qualit y: Experience in defining and executing test strategies, debugging, and using testing tools and framework s.Analytical Abilit y: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to handle complex technical challenge s.Leadership & Collaboratio n: Proven ability to lead teams, work across functions, and manage stakeholder expectations effectivel y.Communication Skill s: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present architectural designs and influence senior stakeholder s.
