HSP Law is a Toronto-based personal injury law firm with a practice spanning multiple provinces. We are seeking to add an Associate Lawyer to our team. We represent plaintiffs in motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, accident benefits, and long-term disability matters.

Responsibilities

Handling all aspects of personal injury files from intake to resolution

Drafting pleadings, motions, settlement memoranda, and mediation briefs

Conducting examinations for discovery, attending mediations, pre-trials, and LAT hearings

Reviewing medical documentation and productions

Regular communication with clients throughout the life of the file

Conducting legal research as required

Requirements

Called to the Ontario Bar with at least 2 years of post-call experience

Experience in plaintiff personal injury law, including Accident Benefits and Tort

Ability to handle files independently with minimal supervision

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
