Experienced Procurement Lawyer at Axiom

Axiom seeks a skilled Procurement Lawyer to tackle complex public procurement issues. This position involves providing legal support, drafting agreements, and standardizing procurement policies for clients in Ontario.

In this role, you will have direct interactions with corporate clients, offering specialized legal advice to mitigate procurement challenges. With a minimum of 5 years in public procurement, your expertise will guide client teams in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements and procurement policies. You will also engage key stakeholders to ensure seamless purchasing functions.

Key Responsibilities: • Advise clients on public procurement matters • Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements • Standardize procurement-related terms and protocols • Coordinate discussions with key purchase stakeholders

Requirements: • Ontario-based, active Law Society of Ontario member • Over 5 years of public procurement experience • Expertise in supplier relationship management and IT procurement • Proven track record in negotiating with opposing counsel
