A leading MEP consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable and energy-efficient building services solutions is seeking a Junior Sustainability Engineer to join its growing team in Antrim.
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Engineer to develop a career in building sustainability and energy engineering while working on a diverse range of commercial, residential, education and healthcare projects.
Working closely with experienced sustainability professionals, you will develop your skills in energy modelling, building performance analysis and sustainable building design. You'll gain exposure to both new-build and refurbishment projects while supporting the delivery of low-carbon and net zero solutions.Assisting with domestic and non-domestic energy assessments and EPCsSupporting dynamic thermal modelling and building performance simulationsContributing to net zero carbon and passive design strategiesAssisting with daylight and sunlight assessmentsSupporting whole life carbon assessmentsWorking on BREEAM and LEED accreditation projectsAttending client meetings and undertaking site inspections when requiredCollaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams across a range of sectorsYou will receive structured training and mentoring, with clear opportunities to progress into a project leadership role as your experience develops.
What you'll need to succeed Degree qualified in Energy Engineering, Sustainability, Building Services Engineering or a related disciplineKnowledge of Part L and Part F Building RegulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CAD softwareA genuine interest in sustainable building design and energy performanceAbility to work effectively as part of a teamFull UK driving licence What you'll get in return
