Yalavarthi Granites and Furniture Private Limited is an India-based company with operations in the United States through its affiliated brands YAL Living and Deccan Stones.

We specialize in supplying and installing kitchen cabinets, closets, countertops, flooring, and home remodeling products for residential projects across Texas and other U.S. markets. Our customers include homeowners, builders, contractors, interior designers, and real estate professionals.

As our U.S. operations continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Kitchen & Closet Designer to join our team and work directly on American residential remodeling and new construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design kitchens, closets, pantries, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and bathroom vanities using 2020 Design Software. Create high-quality renderings and customer presentations. Review customer measurements, floor plans, and project requirements.

Prepare cabinet layouts, elevations, and detailed design drawings. Generate cabinet material lists and assist with project quotations. Coordinate with sales, project management, installation, and procurement teams.

Attend virtual meetings with U.S.-based customers when required. Suggest design improvements and space-planning solutions. Manage revisions and maintain project documentation.

Assist in developing design content for marketing and social media.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen, cabinetry, closet, or interior design. Strong working knowledge of 2020 Design Software. Experience designing modular kitchens and storage solutions.

Ability to read architectural drawings and floor plans. Good understanding of cabinet construction and space planning. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Reliable work-from-home setup with stable internet. Comfortable working full-time during U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with companies such as HomeLane, Livspace, DesignCafe, Bonito Designs, Arrivae, or similar organizations. Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, or rendering software. Experience interacting directly with customers. Familiarity with U.S. kitchen design standards and residential remodeling projects. Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing and installation processes.
