Senior Data Analyst - HRIS Transformation Programme We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in a large-scale HRIS system transformation programme. Working across HR, Technology and Data Governance workstreams, this is a critical role for an organisation committed to building a robust, future-ready HR data landscape. What You'll Do Map and analyse the current HR data landscape, translating complex business requirements and disparate data sources into clear data specifications.
Partner with Data Governance leads and a Data Architect to define data ownership, stewardship, quality rules and support development of conceptual, logical and physical data models. Lead the development of data validation rules, quality checkpoints, data profiling and integrity checks across all HR datasets. Design and execute data migration plans in close collaboration with HRIS vendors and technology teams, including defining transformation rules and mapping specifications from Legacy systems.
Support migration testing cycles including SIT, UAT and parallel runs, with full data reconciliation. Contribute to data dictionaries, business glossaries and metadata standards. Support RFP processes, assessing prospective vendors against organisational data needs.
Enable future HR reporting and analytics by ensuring HRIS design and data models support strategic reporting requirements across workforce, payroll, reward, talent and EDI functions. Translate complex data concepts into clear, business-friendly documentation for non-technical stakeholders. What You'll Bring Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst, with strong knowledge of HR data, best practices and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience on an HRIS or large-scale ERP transformation programme in a similar capacity. Knowledge of data modelling practices including conceptual and logical model creation. Proven experience in data migration for large-scale HR or ERP systems.
Familiarity with data governance principles including data ownership, stewardship and quality frameworks. Proficiency with SQL, Excel and PowerBI. Strong documentation skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of modern data warehouses, data lakes or data lakehouses is beneficial.
