Role: AVP / VP - Recruitment Operations & Contract StaffingWe are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader with deep expertise in Contract Staffing, Workforce Solutions, Recruitment Operations, Client Management, and P&L Ownership. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing large-scale staffing operations, leading high-performing recruitment teams, optimizing margins, growing strategic accounts, and driving new business acquisition.This role will own the end-to-end Contract Staffing business, including business growth, delivery excellence, financial performance, workforce management, compliance, and customer success.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Strategic ExpansionDrive overall revenue, profitability, and growth of the Contract Staffing business.Develop and execute business expansion strategies across India.Identify, acquire, and onboard new enterprise clients across IT, GCC, Engineering, BFSI, Telecom, Manufacturing, Pharma, and Digital Services sectors.Lead strategic client presentations, commercial discussions, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.Build and expand long-term partnerships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.Account Management & Client SuccessOwn and grow key strategic accounts through cross-selling and account expansion initiatives.Establish strong relationships with CXOs, CHROs, Talent Leaders, Procurement Heads, and Business Leaders.Drive customer satisfaction, retention, renewals, and wallet-share growth.Manage critical escalations and ensure delivery excellence across accounts.Identify opportunities for workforce transformation and staffing expansion within existing clients.Recruitment & Delivery LeadershipLead large recruitment teams delivering contract staffing mandates across multiple geographies and domains.Ensure achievement of hiring targets, deployment goals, productivity metrics, and SLAs.Drive recruitment process optimization, delivery governance, and operational efficiency.Build scalable recruitment frameworks to support high-volume hiring requirements.Establish performance-driven recruitment and delivery practices.Operations & Workforce ManagementOversee end-to-end staffing operations including sourcing, onboarding, deployment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, invoicing, and offboarding.Manage large contract workforce populations across multiple client locations.Drive process automation and operational excellence initiatives.Ensure seamless collaboration across recruitment, operations, payroll, finance, and client servicing teams.Financial Ownership & Margin OptimizationOwn the complete P&L of the Contract Staffing business.Drive revenue forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and business planning.Monitor and improve gross margins, contribution margins, billing realization, and collections.Lead pricing strategies, commercial negotiations, and margin enhancement initiatives.Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.Compliance & GovernanceEnsure adherence to all statutory and labor law requirements including PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act, and other regulatory obligations.Manage risk, governance, and compliance frameworks for large-scale staffing operations.Ensure audit readiness and compliance excellence across all client engagements.Leadership & Team ManagementLead and mentor Recruitment, Delivery, Operations, Payroll, Account Management, and Business Development teams.Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture.Define KPIs, governance mechanisms, and business performance dashboards.Develop future leaders and strengthen organizational capabilities.
Ideal Candidate ProfileMust Have12+ years of experience in Contract Staffing, Workforce Solutions, Recruitment Operations, or Staffing Services.Proven experience leading large recruitment and staffing operations teams.Strong expertise in client acquisition, account growth, and strategic relationship management.Demonstrated ownership of P&L, revenue growth, and margin optimization.Experience managing large enterprise and GCC clients.Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing, negotiations, and contract management.Deep understanding of staffing compliance, workforce deployment, and operational governance.
PreferredExperience working with leading staffing, workforce solutions, or recruitment services organizations.Exposure to GCC hiring models and managed workforce programs.Strong network within enterprise and GCC ecosystems.MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
