Guest Faculty - Spanish Language

Requirement: GITAM is looking for Guest Faculty to teaching Spanish language courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students, promoting language proficiency, and fostering cross-cultural understanding through effective classroom instruction and student engagement.Roles and Responsibilities:• Deliver Spanish language courses at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels as assigned.• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.• Conduct interactive classes focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.• Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, presentations, and projects.• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.• Maintain attendance, assessment records, and course documentation.• Utilize innovative teaching methodologies and digital learning platforms.• Participate in academic activities, workshops, language clubs, and cultural events related to Spanish language and culture.• Collaborate with faculty members and academic administrators for curriculum enhancement.• Support the department in accreditation, quality assurance, and other academic initiatives as required.• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.• Contribute to service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels.• Engage with industry partners and support student internship opportunities.Education and Experience:• Master's Degree in Spanish Language, Hispanic Studies, Foreign Languages, Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related discipline.• Prior teaching experience in higher education institutions, language institutes, or universities is desirable.• Experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.• Experience in curriculum development and language assessment.• Exposure to blended and online learning environments.
