Financial Controller

A highly successful and long established manufacturing organisation is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance function at their flagship Co. Fermanagh site. With over 168 employees locally and group operations across Ireland, including a €160m+ turnover site, this is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a growing, multi site group.

This vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of the long standing FC after 20 years' service. A full handover and strong support will be provided.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will act as the No.1 in Finance for the Fermanagh site, overseeing all financial operations and leading a small team across AP, AR and Payroll.

You will take ownership of:

Site financial performance and delivery of the business planCashflow management, payment systems and financial controlsCost control, overheads and profitabilityMonthly reporting, budgeting and forecastingIntercompany discussions with other group sitesCompliance with BRC / Bord Bia standardsStrategic input at senior leadership meetingsEnsuring the finance function operates efficiently, accurately and in line with company policiesThis is a commercially focused role where you will be expected to analyse financial data, challenge performance, and provide recommendations to drive improvement across the site.

What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in a senior finance role within manufacturing or a similar environmentStrong commercial awareness and the confidence to influence at leadership levelExperience managing or overseeing finance teamsExcellent analytical, reporting and communication skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
