Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Western Health and Social Care Trust to recruit a temporary Finance Officer based in the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen. This role offers an immediate start and is for 3 months initially.The CompanyThe Western Health and Social Care Trust is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join its busy Finance Department based at South West Acute Hospital. As a Finance Administrator you will keep up to date financial records and work within the Cash Office.The RoleKey Responsibilities:Managing and safeguarding financial transactions, ensuring all cash, cheque, and payment records are processed accurately and securelySupporting a range of financial services including petty cash administration, patient reimbursements, charitable funds, and banking processesMaintaining accurate financial records and databases, ensuring information is up to date and compliant with proceduresProviding guidance and support to patients and visitors regarding travel expense claims and other financial enquiries with sensitivity and professionalismDelivering a responsive and customer-focused service through face-to-face, telephone, and email interactionsAssisting with financial processes relating to patient property, private patient income, and compensation recovery activitiesProducing financial documentation, reports, and management information to support effective service deliveryUpholding financial controls and ensuring adherence to audit standards, governance requirements, and Trust policiesThe PersonEssential Criteria:5 GCSE's grades A-C including Maths and English or equivalent qualification plus 1 years experience in finance roleOR, 3 years administration experience to include 1 year in a finance roleStrong IT skills including Microsoft Word and ExcelDesirable Criteria:Experience of cash office work1 years finance experience working in a finance department within the Health and Social CarePackage and Benefits This role offers an hourly rate of £12.75.
It is a Band 3 position which is temporary and offers an immediate start.
