Data Loss Prevention Technical Specialist

We are looking for a DLP Technical Specialist, reporting into the Data Security Lead, that has had experience of implementing and tuning rules, ideally within Data Loss Prevention tooling, and supporting assessment of DLP alerts.
The role will be part of a newly formed DLP team that is looking to enhance existing DLP solutions and support the implementation of new technology. In addition, support will be provided to the DLP Operations team with implementation of rules, fine tuning and supporting Operations as required.
Specific Role ResponsibilitiesDefine security requirements through threat, risk and gap analysis in response to new regulatory requirements, the insider risk threat, a data exfiltration incident or an internal request from the businessBuild, test, tune and implement DLP policies across email, web, cloud, endpoint and DARWork closely with DLP and Security Operations Analysts to reduce the volume of false positives by tuning existing DLP policies to make efficiency gainsCreate and maintain all Policy Development Playbooks and Process GuidesMaintain metrics highlighting current gaps and efforts to improve monitoringInvestigate DLP alerts as requiredAdhere to FNZs internal change control policyProvide knowledge and support during cyber security incidents
Experience RequiredExperience in implementing and tuning rules, using Data Loss Prevention tooling and preferably with Proofpoint DLPAn understanding of insider threat and ideally UBAKnowledge/experience in DLP technologies, email gateways and cloud proxyAn understanding of security monitoring technologies including SIEM and EDR solutionsA good understanding of modern cloud architectureKnowledge of data protection regulations and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and PCI-DSSKnowledge of data classification methods, data masking and data encryptionA good understanding of the current cyber threat landscape for firms operating in the Financial Services and Wealth Management sectorEvidence of building strong relationships with key stakeholdersPast experience working within a SOC, DLP, or Security Engineering team.About FNZ CultureOur culture is what drives us.
