Contract Attorney

Job Purpose:

Manage end-to-end commercial contract operations and legal process workflows while supporting global SaaS, procurement, privacy, and AI governance initiatives. This role focuses on contract drafting, negotiation, CLM operations, compliance support, and enabling scalable legal operations through process excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Who You Are:

LLB or equivalent legal qualification with enrollment under a State Bar Council in India6+ years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably in an in-house legal team or at a firm with a significant tech or SaaS client baseStrong experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating SaaS Subscription Agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and Vendor/Procurement AgreementsWorking knowledge of global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPAFamiliarity with AI governance and compliance frameworks such as the EU AI Act and US AI regulationsHands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, preferably IroncladExposure to tools such as Zip, Salesforce, and DocuSignStrong understanding of end-to-end contract lifecycle operations and legal workflowsExperience handling privacy addenda, DPAs, security questionnaires, and compliance-related legal documentationAbility to manage high-volume contract workflows independently while tracking approvals and execution timelinesStrong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishComfortable collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones
