Based at our headquarters in Rotterdam, you will be reporting to the Head of Business Control and be part of a larger finance and analytics team. You will work closely with business controllers, other Power BI analysts, IT specialists, and business unit managers to ensure we deliver the best data models, reporting structures, and ad-hoc analysis to our stakeholders.

Turning data into insight and action

As a Business Analyst with expertise in Power BI and data structures, you will be responsible for designing and delivering reports, dashboards, and analyses that empower the business to make better decisions. You will make visualizing data easy and intuitive. You will act as the link between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring data integrity, optimizing report structures, and continuously improving our data models.

Your first year will focus on becoming the key point of contact for ad-hoc business reporting needs, streamlining data flows, and improving the Power BI environment. Over time, you will have the opportunity to grow into a full business control role, gaining in-depth knowledge of the transport industry and its financial drivers.

Your main tasks will include:

Develop and maintain interactive, user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports.
Design, optimize, and document data models that ensure accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
Collaborate with IT to guarantee smooth data integration between operational and financial systems, such as SAP S4Hanna and One Stream.
Work closely with business controllers and Managing Directors to provide timely and accurate ad-hoc analysis.
Monitor report usage, gather user feedback, and implement improvements.
Support month-end reporting and KPI tracking processes.

A salary range of €60-€75K annually, depending on experience.

The formal requirements are:

A university degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or similar.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar data or reporting analyst role.
Strong knowledge of Power BI and advanced Excel.
Experience with financial and operational data structures.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Strong written and spoken English; Dutch is an advantage.
