As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the team that designs, builds and manages all the user management and contract management front‑end web services, and eventually the ABN AMRO app. You work closely with the Business Product Owner and Lead Product Owner.
In this role you proactively engage stakeholders, conduct customer validations, structure processes in a clear and systematic way, organize workshops, consult with architects, and create a concise overview of systems and resources. You document and explain processes so that product owners and developers can start immediately. Your analytical brainpower transforms complex information into practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, share, and gather clear business requirements.
- Manage knowledge by creating and updating content in Confluence.
- Update the portfolio using Azure Boards and Jira Align.
- Analyse usage trends and performance of our service connections, alongside other relevant monitoring activities.
- Facilitate internal communication and clarify which services we consume or plan to consume.
- Track internal and external trends and improvement opportunities, leading to concrete proposals for team backlogs.
- Define and elaborate business value for team initiatives.
- Participate in and organise design thinking activities with the teams.
Qualifications
- Completed education at HBO/WO level and at least five years of experience in a digital environment.
- Documented experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst.
- Proven knowledge and experience with digital identification and authentication services in a corporate setting.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience in process modelling, defining business value, writing user stories (supported by tools like Visio or Draw.io), and documenting process flows.
- Proficient in capturing and documenting customer needs using methods such as workshops and customer research.
- Quick to learn, results‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, able to ask precise questions and effectively explain business concepts to technical audiences across the organisation.
- Capable of handling confidential (customer) data with care.
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, and able to provide developers with thorough solution descriptions.
- Flexible, with the ability to switch easily between different topics.
- Self‑reflective, actively and openly working on personal development.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English.
