Bim Technician - Plumbing and Fire protection

To work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate's role will be as an MEP Revit Technician within the WSP India in our Bangalore/Noida office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on several projects at any given time.

You will report to CAD/BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.

Responsibilities

Prepare MEP 3D Revit Model in LOD-350/400Coordinate models with other MEP services, Architectural and Structural model.Clash detection and clash resolutionCreate Parametric Revit Families.Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design modelsSupport design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualisationsSupport design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D m

Key Competencies / Skills:Experience in the use of the following software is essential:REVIT MEPAutoCAD (2D and 3D)NavisworksDynamo script

The candidate must:Have good English communication skills.Ability to access the time requirement for completion of the task.Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level.Be computer literate.Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months as projects dictate (base will be Bangalore/Noida).Ability to plan and manage his/her workloadLateral thinking and knowledge in other MEP services.Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being used
