About the Opportunity
The Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing and leading analytics projects end‑to‑end, serving as a technical reference for projects of any level of complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects from conception to implementation and results monitoring.
- Design, build, and structure scalable data models using Modern Data Stack (MDS) tools.
- Design the architecture of Data Warehouse (DW), data pipelines, and Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
- Define, implement, and oversee processes, standards, and best practices related to the MDS.
- Coordinate with business areas on the creation, documentation, and usage of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with both technical and non‑technical teams, bridging the gap between business problems and technical solutions.
- Develop training and implement data processes within business areas.
- Work on complex projects by formulating and answering business questions using data visualization and advanced statistics.
- Ensure the application of quality controls and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Propose new data product solutions alongside the data team and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate the implementation of data‑related metrics and processes within business areas.
- Plan and execute migration, architecture, platform, and data product projects.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in defining Data Warehouse architectures, optimizing production models, and implementing development, maintenance, and usage processes for data products.
- Experience defining and implementing data platform projects of varying scales and complexity.
- Advanced knowledge in cost and performance optimization for large‑scale data models.
- Strong experience optimizing processes across data platforms (DataOps, SecOps, DevOps).
- Proven ability to solve business problems through a multidisciplinary perspective combining data and business.
- Experience managing data teams and delivering value efficiently through data platforms.
- Experience defining structure and modeling standards in dbt projects.
- Experience leading end‑to‑end analytics projects.
- Advanced SQL skills (window functions, macros, indexes, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge across all areas of the Modern Data Stack (Databases, Data Warehouses, dbt, Cloud, BI).
- Experience integrating projects across multiple data sources and business areas.
- Advanced experience with analytical tools (Excel, BI tools, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience creating, documenting, and implementing business metrics.
- Experience presenting metrics to senior leadership.
- Strong interest in solving problems through data visualization.
- Advanced knowledge of information design.
- Advanced proficiency in R/Python or equivalent, focused on data manipulation and visualization.
- Advanced knowledge of Git.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar prototyping tools.
- Results‑driven, with strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of AI and its applications.
- Advanced or fluent English.
Nice to haves
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
- Postgraduate degree in a data‑related field.
- dbt certification.
- Certification in a BI tool (e.g., Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Certified Data Analyst).
- Advanced knowledge in one or more business domains (e.g., People Analytics).
- Professional/Specialty‑level certification in a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) or equivalent.
- Professional‑level certifications such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of advanced statistics and machine learning techniques.
