d Sheet Metal Mechanics for a long-term project in Troy, NC , starting March 2026 . This opportunity is ideal for skilled tradesmen who excel in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and fieldwork, and who value safety, precision, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal systems, including ductwork, metal panels, and structural components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, shop drawings, and project plans. Use hand and power tools, press brakes, shears, welders, and fastening tools to cut, bend, shape, and assemble sheet metal components.

Ensure installations meet quality standards, align with drawings, and comply with code and safety

requirements

. Work in elevated or confined spaces, handle heavy materials, and collaborate with other trades. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols.

Required Skills

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of sheet metal fabrication/installation

experience

in commercial, industrial, or construction projects. Proficient with sheet metal tools and equipment (shears, brakes, riveters, welding/fastening tools). Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.

Strong attention to detail, quality orientation, and teamwork

skills

. Comfortable working in elevated or confined spaces. Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; must pass drug screen and background check.
