Essential Duties Clinical Excellence: Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision, adhering to physician orders and established protocols. Patient Safety: Ensure all patients and personnel are appropriately shielded before activating X-ray equipment and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards. Quality Control: Test and monitor equipment for proper working conditions; perform required maintenance, cleaning, and calibration. Patient Care: Communicate clearly with patients regarding their status and procedure, maintaining a professional and empathetic environment. Documentation: Accurately maintain records and QC documentation in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code and regulatory agencies. Technical Support: Maintain an organized work area with adequate supplies to ensure immediate availability during procedures. Qualifications Certification: ARRT registered. Licensure: Valid Radiologic License in the state of Ohio. Basic Life Support: Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Experience: Two or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred. Skills: Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and PACS/EMR (Meditech experience a plus).
