Overview
Southeast Health, located in Dothan, AL, is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate clinician to provide comprehensive cancer care within a state-of-the-art facility. We welcome applications from both

d physicians and recent graduates for the 2025 graduation year, including those eligible for visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert outpatient and inpatient Hematology and Oncology care at Southeast Health. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including radiation oncologists, surgeons, and support staff, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Participate in shoulder-to-shoulder tumor board discussions, case reviews, and comprehensive cancer registry activities.
Manage on-site infusion therapies and coordinate with radiation oncologists for patients requiring radiation treatment. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the cancer program. Provide patient
education
and emotional support to individuals and their families throughout the treatment process. Participate in hospital rounds, clinics, and scheduled patient management activities during clinic hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Share call
responsibilities
on a rotating basis, approximately once every four days, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certification or eligible in Hematology and Oncology. State medical license or the ability to obtain licensure in Alabama.
Excellent clinical

with a patient-centered approach. Strong interpersonal and communication
