Providence Kodiak Island is seeking an OB/GYN to join its community of care givers in Kodiak Island, Alaska. This is an extremely collegial and tight-knit group providing much-needed services to patients all across the area. As such, your work here will have a huge impact on the health and wellbeing of many local (and often quite rural) communities.

The work itself involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient care (including maternity care and deliveries) at a facility that houses four birthing suites. Where You'll Work Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is the sole provider of acute and emergency care for Kodiak Island. Accredited by The Joint Commission and designated as a Level IV trauma center by the State of Alaska, this 25-bed critical-access hospital plays an indispensable role in the lives of 14,000 Kodiak residents, the Coast Guard base and neighboring villages.

With a state-of-the-art MRI and 64-slice CT, this hospital receives high marks, and providers are able to offer advanced care.
