Finishing-Rework Operator

The finishing operator checks for correct copy and color of the label order, completes all necessary paperwork and inspects the order in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures. The inspector ensures that all customer specifications for finishing are followed.

Key Responsibilities

Complete inspection worksheets for all assigned tasks. Verify printed copy against the Quality Assurance (QA)-approved copy sample. Compare color accuracy to the QA-approved color standard.

Ensure all customers finishing specifications are followed accurately. Maintain a daily log of all inspected orders. Identify and splice out any inferior or defective printed material.

Pack completed orders into cartons and apply all required identification labels and shipping documentation. Communicate any quality concerns or issues to the supervisor promptly.
