Job Summary

The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible to run an assigned route The DM provides Direct Store Delivery (DSD) service to all channels of customers. Primary function is delivery and distribution of all products on an assigned route within prescribed timelines. Deliver, merchandise and unload pre-sold orders; check product quantities for accuracy; assure product is rotated properly safeguarding against past dated products available to consumers; and maintain paperwork.

DMs manage customer expectations regarding delivery and receiving instructions, and back room storage and effectively communicate with Territory Sales Managers and Delivery Merchandiser Managers with any opportunities. Primary

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED equivalent. 1 3 years of general work

experience

required. Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must have

a valid Texas Drivers License (Class C) with a minimum of 5 years driving

experience

, clean driving record with no moving violations over the past 3 years. No major driving convictions including DUI/DWI, reckless driving or at-fault fatal accident.

Must have

basic computer

skills

including ability to use computer ordering equipment. Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations. No tattoos or body piercing visible while wearing a company uniform.
