Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs and goals Lead engaging therapy sessions that support communication, social interaction, and feeding/swallowing
skills
Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed Provide
education
to families regarding developmental milestones and home practice strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards Participate in interdisciplinary discussions and care coordination
Qualifications
Required Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Experience
working with children in clinical, school, or early intervention settings Strong knowledge of pediatric development, anatomy, physiology, and communication disorders Proficiency in assessment and therapy planning techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Preferred Familiarity with school-based therapy programs
Experience
