xIL Modeling and Integration Engineer - Automotive Location: Bangalore/Pune Experience: 3 to 6 Years Open Positions: 2 Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days
Job Overview:We are looking for a skilled xIL Modeling and Integration Engineer with strong expertise in model-based development and simulation within the automotive domain. The role focuses on plant modeling, powertrain system simulation, and integration with HIL environments.

Position RequirementsBasic QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other suitable degree related to Engineering from an accredited universityExperience in the electronics, hardware, automotive industryExperience with plant and controller modeling, simulation, development and testingExperience in Model Based Development on any Powertrain Application, preferred Matlab-Simulink/Stateflow/SimScapeKnowledge and experience with Powertrain, EE, electric and hybrid systemsDemonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems)Experience with C/C++ code generationKnowledge of Simulation Tool (Ex: ASM)Experience with 1-D physical modeling tools such as GT Power, AMESim and co-simulation toolsExperience with model-based development tools using m-scriptOutstanding interpersonal and problem solving skillsStrong ability to work directly with individuals and groupsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenSelf-starter who can work cross-functionally with other people
Preferred Qualifications:Master of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer EngineeringWorking experience of Model DevelopmentBasic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and specific simulation softwareKnowledge of Vehicle Systems ComponentsExperience of working within an AGILE or Scrum frameworkExperience in Test AutomationAbility to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivityStrong understanding of the development of embedded softwareAbility to communicate effectively across multiple levels of managementGood understanding of the development of embedded softwareExperience with data acquisition and analysis tools such as ETAS-INCA
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering Master's Degree (Preferred)
