Job Description
This is a defining opportunity for a interior designer looking to shape the future of workspaces (). As a Lead Interior Designer, you'll be responsible for translating Venn Spaces design principles into immersive, high-performance environments across our product spectrum - from standard co-working floors to bespoke managed office spaces.The role is deeply collaborative and cross-functional, requiring you to work closely with architectural, MEP, construction, logistics, and operations teams. You'll be expected to drive projects from ideation through execution, pushing for excellence in spatial storytelling, detail resolution, and material expression - all while balancing function, brand, and budget. Roles and responsibilitiesDesign, document, and lead multiple projects simultaneously with a strong sense of ownership, creativity, and technical accuracyTranslate project briefs into compelling spatial concepts grounded in both our design ethos and user needsDrive material selection, custom detailing, FF&E curation, styling and overall design directionCollaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams and external consultants to deliver cohesive and timely outcomesLead presentations and reviews, internally and externally - articulating design rationale, intent, and solutions clearlyPrepare and QC design deliverables from schematic design through GFC documentation using RevitOwn and resolve challenges that arise during design development, vendor sourcing, execution, or post-handoverMaintain high documentation and detailing standards across all internal and consultant packagesSupport real estate, development, and procurement teams with design expertise during due diligence, feasibility, and pricingMentor junior designers and ensure consistency, alignment, and quality across all project stagesStay on top of trends in design, workplace innovation, sustainability, and materials to elevate project outcome
Experience and qualificationsBachelors degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture from a reputed institute5-7 years of professional experience in high-quality commercial, workplace, or hospitality interiorsProven expertise in managing interior design projects end-to-end, preferably in a fast-paced or design-forward environmentDemonstrated spatial sensitivity, material knowledge, and concept development skillsStrong portfolio that showcases a balance of creativity and technical depthDeep familiarity with design documentation in a BIM (Revit) workflowKnowledge of applicable building codes, accessibility guidelines, and sustainability benchmarksHighly organized with a strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detailExcellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skillsHands-on proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Google SuiteBonus: Working knowledge of Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, Rhino, or other rendering platformsBonus: Understanding of hybrid workspace design, user behavior mapping, or design strategy frameworks
