Workday Financials Consultant / Analyst
We are looking for candidates with 3–10 years of experience in Workday Financials, with strong functional understanding of finance and accounting processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Expenses.
The role requires hands-on experience in Workday configuration, business process setup, reporting, security, testing, and production support. The candidate should be able to work closely with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Financial Management modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, and Expenses. They will partner with finance teams to gather requirements, configure business processes, build reports and dashboards, support SIT/UAT cycles, manage Workday release testing, and assist in production deployments.
The role will also involve troubleshooting system issues, ensuring timely resolution, maintaining data accuracy and compliance, and supporting integrations between Workday and external systems. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, HR, IT, and external vendors.
Key Skills Required
Candidates should have strong knowledge of Workday Financials configuration, business process frameworks, functional setups, security configuration, and Workday reporting tools such as Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports. Exposure to Workday integrations such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio will be preferred.
Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and clear communication are essential for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday Financials certification, experience in end-to-end Workday implementation projects, exposure to Agile or Waterfall delivery methodologies, and prior experience working in global finance environments will be an added advantage.
