Vice President of Operations – Orthopedic Services

We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and grow a multi‑site orthopedic platform in Massachusetts. This role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, driving patient volume and revenue growth, and partnering closely with physicians to deliver high‑quality, efficient care.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can balance strategy with execution and thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operations across multiple orthopedic practice locations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high performance
• Drive patient volume growth through improved access, scheduling, and referral development
• Own financial performance, including budgeting, cost management, and revenue optimization
• Partner with physicians to align clinical and operational goals while maintaining strong relationships
• Build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams across administrative and clinical support functions
• Enhance the patient experience and ensure high standards of care delivery
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with executive leadership (COO, CPO, Finance, HR) to execute strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• 8+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience (REQUIRED)
• Orthopedic or musculoskeletal practice experience (REQUIRED)
• Proven experience managing multi‑site healthcare operations
• Strong financial acumen with experience owning or influencing P&L performance
• Demonstrated success driving growth, improving operations, and achieving performance metrics
• Experience leading, developing, and scaling high‑performing teams
• Ability to build strong relationships with physicians and influence across stakeholders
