Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role based in Coimbatore, with flexibility for remote work. The Vice President of Business Development will lead efforts to identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities, devise strategic plans, conduct high-level contract negotiations, drive sales growth, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. The individual will collaborate with internal departments to align business strategies with corporate goals and oversee the development and expansion of business partnerships.
QualificationsProven expertise in New Business Development and Business PlanningStrong skills in Contract Negotiation and SalesExperience in Account Management and maintaining long-term client relationshipsExcellent leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skillsAbility to adapt to a hybrid working model and manage off-site and on-site responsibilities effectivelyIdentify and develop new business opportunities within US CPA firms, accounting firms, and advisory practicesBuild and manage a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, conferences, LinkedIn outreach, and strategic partnershipsLead discovery calls, presentations, and proposal discussions with firm owners and decision-makersCoordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition for new clientsRepresent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events in the US accounting spaceMaintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for cross-selling and account expansionStay updated on trends within the accounting, tax, CAS, and offshoring industries
Preferred Candidate Profile5-12+ years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or consultingPrior experience in the accounting, tax, bookkeeping, CAS, or outsourcing industry is preferredStrong understanding of US accounting firms and CPA practice workflowsExperience working with India-US delivery models or offshore staffing solutions is highly preferredExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsAbility to engage with firm owners, partners, and senior leadership teamsSelf-driven, consultative, and growth-oriented mindsetWillingness to travel to the US for conferences and client meetings, if required
