Veterinary Technician / Assistant Position Details

We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented veterinary professionals who enjoy client communication and high-quality patient care.Veterinary experience preferred (technician or assistant)On-the-job training available for the right candidateCredentialed veterinary technicians will be utilized to their full scope and act as team leaders for surgical and hospitalized patients as well as emergencies and client communication.Key Responsibilities (Veterinary Technician / Assistant)Patient intake, handling, and restraintVaccine administration and treatmentsPhlebotomy and laboratory testingRadiograph positioning and imagingPatient monitoring and nursing careClient education and discharge instructionsMedical record keeping and documentationGeneral hospital maintenanceAdvanced technician duties may include:IV catheter placementSurgical assistanceAnesthesia induction and monitoringDental prophylaxis and dental radiographyAdministrative tasks may include appointment scheduling, phone support, inventory management, controlled substance logging, and staff training.
