We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team, focusing on patch testing for Siemens Teamcenter. The role involves validating patch deployments, ensuring system stability, and verifying functional integrity across modules in complex PLM environments.
Execute manual test cases for Teamcenter patch releases across multiple environments.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after patch application.
- Validate installation, configuration, and upgrade procedures for Teamcenter patches.
- Document test results, defects, and observations in a structured manner using QA tools.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and system administration teams to troubleshoot patch-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, industry best practices, and organizational processes.
- Support root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports for patch-related failures.
- Participate in test planning, review sessions, and stakeholder meetings to align on patch readiness.
- Required Skills and Experience
2–5 years of experience in manual QA, preferably with PLM systems.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter (installation, configuration, and functional modules).
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (ETVX, regression, smoke, and system testing).
- Familiarity with patch management processes and validation workflows.
- Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, or similar).
- Ability to work in multi-environment setups (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
