Technical Project Manager (Austin, TX | Full-Time | On-Site) About Wilder Systems Robotics Wilder Systems Robotics is a robotics and automation company delivering precision manufacturing and sustainment automation solutions to aerospace and defense customers. We are ITAR-registered and HUBZone-certified, with active programs spanning aircraft maintenance, composite manufacturing, and industrial automation. Role Summary The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for end-to-end delivery of robotics automation programs, from kickoff through commissioning.
You will own schedule, budget, risk, and customer communication across concurrent technical programs, working closely with hardware, software, and applications engineers to keep programs on track. This is a high‑visibility role with direct exposure to Wilder Systems leadership and strategic customers. Key Responsibilities Program Execution Own project schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple active programs Drive weekly and bi-weekly cadence reviews with internal teams and customers Track and manage action items, risks, and issues to resolution Coordinate CDR, PDR, and acceptance review events with stakeholder alignment Customer & Stakeholder Management Serve as primary customer-facing PM for assigned programs Prepare and deliver program status updates, SOW reviews, and executive briefings Manage scope changes and contract modifications in coordination with business development Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate across hardware, software, and applications engineering to resolve dependencies Interface with tooling, controls, and vendor teams to align on integration timelines Support procurement, subcontractor management, and site readiness activities Process & Compliance Maintain program documentation in accordance with ITAR and company standards Support CMMC and FedRAMP compliance activities as they intersect with program delivery Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools Qualifications Required 5+ years of project or program management experience in a technical environment Background in mechanical engineering, robotics, aerospace, or a closely related technical field Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs from inception to delivery Strong proficiency with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Jira, or equivalent) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to brief both engineers and executives U.S.
