Project Manager – Shopify eCommerce
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading Shopify eCommerce projects from inception to launch, ensuring seamless execution across design, development, and integration phases. While this is not a hands‑on development role, you must have a strong technical understanding of Shopify, third‑party integrations, and custom development approaches to guide project execution effectively. You will proactively identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, collaborating with engineers, designers, QA, and stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Your ability to manage scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining profitability will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document clear project plans, timelines, and milestones for Shopify builds and integrations.
- Work closely with software engineers and QA to establish an execution strategy, ensuring the right technical solutions are chosen.
- Ensure all project requirements—including features, integrations, and theme customizations—are clearly defined and documented.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of effort estimation, resource allocation, and technical feasibility for each project.
- Proactively manage scope, ensuring that out‑of‑scope requests are either reined in or processed via formal change orders.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide clear, proactive communication regarding project status, priorities, next steps, and risks.
- Ensure detailed and organized documentation in project management tools, tickets, and client communications.
- Surface and elevate risks early to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- Monitor project progress and course‑correct as needed to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Ensure a defect‑free launch process, coordinating testing, bug tracking, and resolution efforts.
- Maintain a balance between process and flexibility, adjusting workflows to fit project complexities and constraints.

- 3‑5 years of experience in an eCommerce environment, ideally as a Project Manager, eCommerce Manager, or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or a related field.
Compensation
Salary range for this fully remote position is $60k to $90k, depending on experience and location.

Account Manager
The Account Manager (AM) is the connector between our clients and our team. You will manage the day‑to‑day relationship with assigned accounts, ensuring clients feel supported and projects stay on track. This includes staying on top of emails, Basecamp messages, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, writing recaps, and documenting next steps.
You will also help shape how our team supports client growth and build long‑term strategic conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for assigned clients, responding quickly and clearly to emails and Basecamp messages.
- Schedule and run client meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and sending recaps with documented next steps.
- Ensure information flows smoothly between clients and internal teams by capturing feedback, assigning tasks, and tracking deliverables.
- Support new client onboarding by setting clear expectations and aligning on our processes.
- Draft briefs, collect assets, and ensure client feedback is accurately documented for the team.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with client goals.
- Build strong client relationships and foster trust through responsiveness, clarity, and consistency.
- Monitor project health and timelines, communicating proactively about risks or changes.
- Learn and apply e‑commerce strategies, contributing insights and recommendations that help clients improve their websites.

Director of Strategy
Lead and elevate the strategic output across all of our client engagements. Oversee a team of specialists spanning CRO, retention marketing, SEO, and GEO, ensuring that strategic recommendations are cohesive, data‑informed, and deeply connected to the broader business goals of the brands we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of strategists across CRO, retention, SEO, and GEO disciplines.
- Establish and maintain strategic standards and frameworks that ensure consistency and quality across all client engagements.
- Partner with account and project teams to translate client business objectives into actionable strategic roadmaps.
- Conduct strategic reviews of ongoing work to identify opportunities for optimization, cross‑channel integration, and improved performance.
- Stay current on industry trends, platform changes, and emerging best practices in e‑commerce, CPG, and omnichannel retail.
- Contribute to new business efforts by shaping strategic approaches for pitches and proposals.
Skills

Freelance Designer
Collaborate with our team in leading and executing digital‑focused projects on an ongoing, retainer basis. Projects include e‑commerce experiences, web/mobile apps, extending visual guidelines to new assets, and researching and applying e‑commerce best practices to all designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ideate and execute on creative concepts that map back to the client’s business goals, audience, and vertical.
- Maintain high standards among the team and ensure only the best work is shared with the client.
- Lead client meetings and workshops as requested and delegate tasks to junior team members.
- Challenge clients on their requirements and advise on best practices.
- Take and develop briefs from the account team into execution, contributing to and driving the process with internal and client teams.

- 4+ years of agency experience, with demonstrated expertise in digital design; product design experience is a bonus.
