Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ or Chicago, IL or Washington DC or Los Angeles, CA
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects in New Jersey, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, or LA. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate with the clients, prime contractors, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The preferred candidate should be bilingual in Korean and English to effectively communicate with the clients and lead other team members throughout the project.
If needed, we will provide the training. Must be flexible to travel.
Responsibilities:
- Take a lead for technical proposal writing
- Manage and oversee subcontractors for installation of turnstile, and similar equipment.
- Build up the project schedule
- Communicate with the prime contractor, subcontractors, and the client
- Lead the installation team for the cabling, bolting, software installation
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot turnstile, or similar equipment
- Install the computer including OS and applications
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
- Assess the scope of work, schedule, and resources required for project completion.
- Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and project plans based on specifications and client needs.
- Supervise purchasing and delivery of project materials.
- Oversee and manage change orders, project documentation, and reporting.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Address and resolve any project-related issues promptly.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts, including progress billing, rental equipment, and income/expense tracking.
- Represent NEXIEN in project meetings and liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in low voltage projects, IT infrastructure, and security solutions.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a related field.
- Experience working with subcontractors and managing project timelines and budgets.
- Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred.
