Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development professional with hands-on recruitment experience to drive growth across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, developing strategic staffing partnerships, managing key accounts, and supporting recruitment delivery for client requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of APAC hiring markets, staffing solutions, and talent acquisition processes.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentIdentify, develop, and acquire new staffing and recruitment opportunities across APAC markets.Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and market research.Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.Conduct client meetings, presentations, and staffing solution discussions.Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close staffing contracts.Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for client accounts.Understand client hiring needs and workforce planning requirements.Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities for account growth.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.Manage contract renewals and expand service offerings within existing accounts.Recruitment & Delivery SupportCollaborate with recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery of client requirements.Participate in candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting for critical positions when needed.Monitor recruitment progress and ensure compliance with client SLAs.Provide market intelligence on talent availability, salary trends, and hiring practices.Support recruitment strategy development for key client accounts.Market Intelligence & StrategyTrack APAC hiring trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.Identify emerging business opportunities and target industries.Develop strategic plans to expand staffing services across new markets and sectors.Maintain an updated database of prospects, clients, and business opportunities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.3-8+ years of experience in staffing, recruitment, and business development.Proven experience in client acquisition and account management within the staffing/recruitment industry.Understanding of APAC recruitment practices and labor markets.Experience handling permanent, contract, and contingent workforce hiring.Required SkillsBusiness development and salesRecruitment lifecycle managementClient relationship managementLead generation and prospectingNegotiation and contract managementTalent sourcing and screeningMarket research and competitor analysisCRM and ATS toolsExcellent communication and presentation skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience working with clients across APAC countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Japan, Philippines, and India.Exposure to IT, Engineering, BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom, or Professional Services staffing.Experience working in staffing agencies, recruitment consultancies, or workforce solutions organizations.Employment TypeFull-time / PermanentWork LocationChennai, Tamil Nadu, India (On-site)
